Our initiative was formed in the Fall of 2010 after a series of incidents locally, regionally and nation­ally prompted concerned citizens of the LGBTQ community in Winston-Salem to actively engage in events and activities to increase the visibility of the LGBTQ community and support programs and initiatives that foster a more diverse, inclusive community.

Equality Winston-Salem will host Winston-Salem PRIDE 2013 on Saturday, October 19, 2013.

If you or your organization are interested in participating in Pride 2013 as a sponsor, vendor, volunteer, parade participant, etc., please fill out the appropriate online application or contact us at Equality Winston-Salem, PO Box 20382, Winston-Salem, NC 27120-0382 or email us at equalitywinstonsalem@gmail.com. The PRIDE 2013 Sponsorship application is now available. Vendor and parade participant applications will be available by June 2013.

Equality Winston-Salem acknowledges that your organization is an important contributor to the vibrancy of our community in Winston-Salem. Depending on sponsorship level, sponsor benefits include company logo on EWS website, logo on event signage, company name on festival press releases and advertisements, logo on event staff/volunteer shirts, company recognition from stage at festival, VIP passes, and parade entries in first ½ of parade.

Sponsorship dollars go directly into the general operating budget for the Winston-Salem Pride Festival.
