LOCAL VOLUNTEER EFFORTS AND EVENTS BEGIN TO DEFEAT AMENDMENT ONE. (Events are listed in chronological order)
RACE TO THE BALLOT
Winston-Salem, the next stop on the RACE, is home to many colleges and universities. Winston-Salem is also home to an active PFLAG chapter and multiple faith communities that are excited to have the RACE in their “City of the Arts.” We have several spectacular events lined up for our Winston-Salem friends!
Everyone is encouraged to join the RACE team at Old Salem Square from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for voter registration and a panel of well-versed speakers talking about the harms of Amendment One.
After the panel, all are invited to make the short walk over to UNC School of the Arts where, starting at 8 p.m., there will be a Rock-the-Vote style concert featuring several local bands. Don’t miss this fun evening of information, activism, and entertainment!
Please follow both events on Facebook for the most up-to-date information.
